The story of a highwayman who terrorizes the inhabitants of the town of Roccaverde.
No one manages to catch him despite the fact that a rich reward for capture hangs over him. One day the bandit is seen by Fragolino, a poor child who is forced to work in order to live. For fear of being discovered Cuordiferro decides to kidnap him and make him his servant. A great friendship will be born between them….
